Last Sunday was the spectacular celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. I’m disappointed that I missed the amazing display of fireworks, but I was not in my SF home. Poor timing.
As I’ve been busy with Nani, I’m just getting around to viewing the festivities online & sharing it with you.
The video below is a whopping 18.59 minutes long. I know most of us don’t have the time and/or attention span to view the entire show, but don’t miss the beginning and the end — it’s truly magnificent! The video/music is courtesy of local radio station KFOG, great job. Of course they, appropriately, ended with “I Left My Heart In San Francisco”. It gave me goosebumps.
What a majestic display, makes me proud of my hometown!
Boy I wish I was there to see that spectacular show…I love fireworks but this year
I’m gonna miss the 4th of July fireworks so this one totally made up for it, thank you
Pri !
I just watched the video again, and WOW, I can not stress enough how it’s worth watching the entire show. This time “I Left My Heart in SF” brought tears to my eyes.
We also miss you here in SF! Hopefully we’ll get to see you soon. I don’t know if you saw this but I thought of you and what we talked about before you left. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2012/05/29/MNJ11OGVTQ.DTL
